Jan is our keyboardist and vocalist. She is a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and Capital University. She teaches both piano and voice in her home studio and also performs with Slapdash Quartet.

Trained on violin and switched to bass in high school

Current groups include Swing's the Thing Big Band, Take Five Jazz Quintet and the New Albany Church worship band. Dan also plays regularly with the Rick Brunetto Big Band and Slapdash Quartet.

Dan is active in the music program for the Walk to Emmaus organization and Kairos prison ministries.

Brian is currently a music teacher in the Canal Winchester Local School District where he teaches middle school band and is the Assistant Marching Band Director and Director of Percussion. He is the proud father of his two little Girls, Alayna and Adalyn. He has studied drumset and percussion from two of the top percussion educators in Ohio in Bruce Gerken and Guy Remonko. He holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Ohio University and a Masters Degree in Music performance from Ohio University. he is thrilled to get the opportunity to perform with Swing's the thing.
